The Enchanting Chant

The Enchanting Chant

                                                                                                                          

Fragments of stars soon interwine,

Spiral down the walls that shine.

Here you are and here you stay,

Upon this glorious night of the day.

 

Stand upon the ocean blue,

That lights up the sky like diamonds to view.

For this, the day you gaze the sea,

In this endless time that’s here to be.

 

So come, and fly away with me,

To a place, where shorelines grew for us.

‘Cause that’s where you will see,

All the stars sparkle, safe away with me.

 

These flames that rise, high up in the dark night,

Enchant us in their bewitching light.

The spark within you ignites,

Let it burn bright, and take you high away.

 

For here you are, and here you stay,

Upon this glorious night of the day.

Here you stay, stay safe with me,

In this endless time, that’s here to be.

 

As we arise into a new day,

And make our own way,

To destiny that stays await,

Across the golden gate.

 

These fears will fade away,

As these skies turn a shade of grey.

And these heights, these heights will guide our way,

Across the misty valley, with its clear blue lakes,

To a promised land with its mystical fate.

 

So spread your tired wings,

And open your eyes.

Whenever your heart sings,

You know you’ve got to touch the sky.

 

You’ve got through the blistering storm,

Now the sun starts to shine.

As you leave this world behind,

Remember to hold your head high.

 

Always remember,

Wherever you are and wherever you stay,

Upon this glorious night of the day,

In my heart you stay, stay with me,

In this endless time, that’s here to be,

That’s here to be…
