Autumn + Sweeper – A Haiku
Leaves fall on the road,
The flower – filled road, glows bright,
The sweeper, sweeps them all.
This haiku is about the cool, serene autumn, aaaand the work of sweepers in that season. This one gives a descriptive depiction of the leaves and flowers falling on the road and how it all looks beautiful for moments but how it increases the works of sweepers all around the world. Especially, in the pandemic the world is facing rn (right now), they play a gargantuan part to keep everywhere clean. This is a sense is a tribute to them for their social work.
Hands race to erase,
Life’s moments with special ones,
Time leaves us wounded.
This haiku depicts how with time, one's memories fade away and how it leaves us with broken strands of memories and how it leaves us stranded and wounded.
Warm fresh scented air,
Erasing winter’s
coldness,
Get up!! Spring is here!!!
This haiku clearly shows the sheer joy and enthusiasm of people, when the dark coldness of winter gives way to the oblivion of spring's light and joy.
